DESCRIPTION

Circle Medical is an adult-only virtual-first primary care medical practice led by CMO Dr. Nikki Tsang. We have immediate openings for board-certified MDs and DOs to serve as Supervising Physicians (SP) for our advanced practice practitioners (APPs) in multiple states.

SP collaborate mostly asynchronously with their assigned delegates to conduct patient chart reviews, delegate prescriptive authority, etc. Furthermore, the SP must fulfill any federal/state/payor-specific requirements as a supervisor, such as attendance in quarterly meetings, etc.

The role requires confidence in clinical decision-making while adhering to evidence-based clinical guidelines. Our in-house electronic health record (EHR) makes documentation and chart review easy.

Pay is based on the number of states and the number of delegates the physician supervises. Malpractice with tail is also provided. The number of hours dedicated to this role will vary based on active state licenses, and the number of delegates assigned at any given time.

Supervision in the following states will not require a DEA at present, but may require in the future: KY, MI, MN, NC, OH

Supervision in the following states will require a full, unrestricted DEA: AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, IL, IA, ME, MD, NV, NJ, NM, NY, OK, OR, PA, SC, UT, VT, VA, WA, WI.
